Jeremy Piven fetches $6.8M for his Los Angeles home whose pool looks to wide city views

Emmy-winning actor Jeremy Piven has sold his LA home for $6.8 million, Gimme Shelter has learned. Realtor.com first reported news of the deal.The gated residence, at 2008 Hercules Dr., was last asking $7.49 million in April. The actor, who is currently on a national stand-up comedy tour and working on new projects including a thriller, “Miami Nights,” bought the modern mansion for $6.8 million in 2017, as noted in Architectural Digest.It first hit the market for $9.49 million in January of last year.
Built in 1980, the four-bedroom, five-bath home is 6,210 square feet and sits on a third of an acre. Perched above the Sunset Strip, near West Hollywood, the clean-lined retreat boasts lots of glass and stunning views from downtown LA to the ocean.Piven is best known for his role as the producer Ari Gold in the HBO hit series, “Entourage.”He most recently garnered praise for his career defining role as Harold May, born Markowitz, an American Jewish tap dancer performing for Hitler in Nazi Germany.
It was Piven’s passion project that took 15 years to make, based on an Arthur Miller short story.The independent film was directed and co-written by Piven’s sister, Shira Piven.Built on a rare flat lot in Mount Olympus, the home features a two-story glass conservatory, living and dining rooms, an open kitchen and floating glass stairs.Sliding glass doors open to a backyard with an infinity-edge pool, a spa, patios and a green lawn.The home also boasts a motor court and a three-car garage.The Beverly Hills Estates’ Branden Williams, Rayni Williams, Michelle Saniei and Trevor Wright were the listing brokers.
