The Big Apple is bleeding blue and orange.Knicks mania is turning every New Yorker into a die-hard fan and igniting bursts of creativity throughout the five boroughs.Every corner has been transformed into a watch party, businesses are serving up Knicks-themed delicacies and fans are even turning to “black magic” to wish an NBA title into existence.“New York is a place like no other,” said Devonti Reid, a social media influencer from the Bronx who held a seance under a Gun Hill Road bridge ahead of Game 1.

“The creativity from this place alone, from day-to-day — where you come here and you walk outside — it’s different from anywhere else.So I expect nothing less from New York City.”In a viral video, Reid, 21, placed Timberland boots, a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and two pictures of a pigeon and a rat inside the circle that he lined with orange and blue candles, and chanted “Go New York, Go New York, Go” before clicking record. “I want the Knicks to win, so I’ll use ‘dark magic’ to help us win,” Reid said.“It was for fun and to be funny, but seriously, I actually hope that it actually works.”In the West Village, a teeny, air-headed version of star player, Jalen Brunson made an appearance ahead of Game 2.Joel Klein, the man behind Big Head Balloons, planted the tiny player and a blue-and-orange unicorn on a street corner last week and reveled as dozens of passersby stopped to snap pictures of the craft.Brunson has also been making another appearance in Queens in food form — Brother’s Ravioli was repacking its classic bacon, egg, and cheese as the “Brunson, egg and cheese” for just $5 during the finals.Hungry fans have been wrapping around the street corner to eat the breakfast of champions, said owner Angelo Pellegrino — who also hosted a watch party outside his Howard Beach shop for Game 2 after a dramatic back-and-forth with some local haters.“It’s not about one business, it’s about everybody doing well and ...
