Teen boy grazed in head by masked, hooded gunman who fired into NYC crowd: cops

A 17-year-old boy was grazed in the head by a bullet fired by a masked, hooded gunman in Harlem earlier this week, police said. The teen was nicked on the right side of his head when the still-at-large shooter fired into a crowd around 9 p.m.Monday at West 124th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard, cops said. The suspect – seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue surgical face mask, blue pants, black sneakers, and carrying a black backpack – fled on foot toward Malcolm X Boulevard, authorities said. The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.It was not immediately clear whether he was the target of the gunfire or an innocent bystander. The violence came a day after another teen was shot dead by a group of scooter-riding goons outside a Queens public housing building on Sunday morning, police said.Jafre Waugh, 18, was standing in front of his home at NYCHA’s Woodside Houses when four men rode up and opened fire, blasting him in the chest and back on 49th Street near 31st Avenue in Woodside around 12:15 a.m., according to cops.No arrests have been made in that case, either. In late April, 15-year-old Jaden Pierre was beaten by a ruthless mob and fatally shot inside Roy Wilkins Park in St.
