Tyler Adams shares wild USA soccer celebration of Knicks NBA Finals win in Game 4

The Knicks produced one of the most iconic NBA Finals games in history on June 10, when they stormed back from a 29-point deficit to beat the Spurs in the final second of Game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead. This comeback, which was capped off by a tip-in from OG Anunoby after a missed 3 from Jalen Brunson, seemed to inspire the USA men’s national soccer team, whose 2026 World Cup debut arrives on June 12.This was proven by an Instagram post that the @usmnt account made Wednesday night, which showed the USA roster celebrating Anunoby’s miraculous shot.Standout USA midfielder Tyler Adams was the most excited player out of anyone in that room. And this doesn’t come as a surprise, given that Adams was born and raised in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and has been a huge Knicks fan his entire life.Adams also flexed the Knicks’ NBA Finals win on his own Instagram account by posting a video during Anunoby’s tip-in to his story on June 10.
The post was captioned, “KNICKSSSSSS !!!!”While Adams isn’t technically Team USA’s captain (that distinction belongs to 38-year-old defender Tim Ream), he’s seen as the glue that holds the USA’s midfield together and is often the orchestrator of its offensive attacks.Hopefully Adams will take inspiration from his beloved team’s comeback performance heading into his squad’s 2026 World Cup debut against Paraguay on June 12.Then again, hopefully Team USA won’t need to come back at all against Paraguay....
