Exclusive | LA homeowners say ballots keeps coming in mail despite repeated efforts to stop them

Los Angeles homeowners are fuming after ballots continue landing in their mailboxes for people who moved away years ago.The intended recipients include former residents of the addresses or family members who have since moved away, some who have been gone for six years, The California Post learned.The alleged botched ballot issues come as a federal lawsuit alleges California is carrying more than 873,000 inactive voter registrations, some dating back more than a decade.The issue has become a recurring source of frustration for Pacific Palisades resident Sue Pascoe.Pascoe, publisher of Circling The News, lost her home in the January 2025 Palisades Fire — but even before the fire, she said ballots continued arriving for family members who no longer lived in California.“If they’re registered somewhere else, why are ballots still coming here?” Pascoe told The Post.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
