Christian Scott going on IL in latest blow to Mets rotation

CINCINNATI — An already thin Mets pitching rotation is losing another component.Christian Scott is headed to the injured list, The Post confirmed, leaving the rotation in flux.The Post’s Jon Heyman reported that Scott is dealing with a hip issue that isn’t deemed serious.Scott has joined Freddy Peralta and Nolan McLean to give the Mets a respectable top three in the rotation, but there are questions beyond that.
