A Homeland Security office in the Cleveland area was evacuated Monday after authorities reportedly discovered a suspicious package nearby containing a live explosive device. The device was found inside an office complex building in Brooklyn Heights, prompting the evacuation of at least seven nearby buildings, according to FOX 8 News. One of the agencies at the 925 Keynote Circle location is a Cleveland Homeland Security office, the outlet confirmed. The office operates as a satellite location for U.S.Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the agency's broader Detroit Field Office, according to ICE's website.The complex also houses other government operations, including the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) bond acceptance facilities, according to government websites.
