Max Fire burning in Santa Clarita area forces shelter-in-place
A brush fire erupted near homes in the Stevenson Ranch area of the Santa Clarita Valley on Monday afternoon, prompting a swift response from firefighters.The blaze was reported around 4:30 p.m.in a hiking area within Pico Canyon Park near Magnolia Lane, according to CBS.Footage from the outlet showed helicopters working to put out flames just yards away from homes.
