The post arrived just after Sweden opened its 2026 World Cup campaign with an emphatic 5-1 win over Tunisia in Monterrey, the nation’s first appearance back in the tournament after failing to qualify in 2022.The collection also fits a group long willing to push its name past music.
In 2022, Swedish House Mafia partnered with IKEA to develop ‘OBEGRÄNSAD,’ a home studio line built around their signature black palette.The group’s interest in football is no recent affectation, either.
Sebastian Ingrosso once captained a team of Swedish DJs against a Tiësto-led Dutch squad in a charity match at Miami’s Winter Music Conference in 2012, raising money for (RED).More than a decade later, the trio is folding the sport into its brand again, this time with a national tournament as the backdrop.
