Palisades Village announces triumphant comeback as Erewhon reopening date revealed

The Palisades Village looks set to make a stunning comeback as Erewhon has revealed bougie groceries will return to Rick Caruso’s mall set up in January.The Village will reopen in full this August, marking one of the biggest milestones yet following the January 2025 wildfires that tore through the wealthy coastal neighborhood — complete with a massive $60 million revitalization.The luxe grocer is expected to become the first market to return to the upscale shopping center, the company said its targeting a January opening date — as Palisades Village welcomes back returning retailers and new stores after almost 19 months.While the historic blaze destroyed thousands of structures, the Palisades Village was famously saved from destruction thanks to a privately funded firefighting team deployed by Caruso.

High-end fashion retailer Elyse Walker, whose original Palisades store burned down, is returning to the neighborhood with a new location in the Village.Other former tenants who are confirmed to reopen there include Paige, Buck Mason, Jennifer Meyer, Veronica Beard, Isabel Marant, Golden Goose, Brunello Cucinelli, Zimmermann, Towne by Elyse Walker and more.
