Rudy Giuliani backs GOP insurgent to take on Dem NY Rep. Tom Suozzi in split from Trump

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is splitting from pal President Trump in the Republican primary race for the 3rd House District seat held by Democratic Rep.Tom Suozzi.Giuliani endorsed attorney Greg Hach Tuesday night against former state Assemblyman Mike Lipetri, who came within a few percentage points of defeating Suozzi in the 2024 election for the district covering parts of Nassau County and Queens.Trump in February endorsed Lipetri, who also has the support of the Nassau County Republican Party.Hach, 55, is an attorney and Air Force veteran who is pouring $1 million of his own money into the race.“Right now, I want to urge people to vote for you.
