Wyndham Clarks girlfriend Emily Tanner wears blue skirt in US Open embrace

While a lot of the sports world’s attention is on the 2026 World Cup now, one of the biggest golf events on the calendar is taking place this weekend at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in New York.This would be the 2026 U.S.Open.

And so far, the story of the tournament has been American golfer Wyndham Clark.The 32-year-old Clark has gotten off to a fantastic start to the 2026 U.S.Open, as he leads the field at 7 under par through two rounds.

While there’s still a lot of golf to be played, the fact that Clark is several strokes ahead of the second-place golfer at this point bodes well for his chances of winning the second major tournament championship of his career.Clark is clearly a big fan of the U.S.Open, as his first major tournament win and breakout moment came when he won the 2023 U.S.

Open at the Los Angeles Country Club.A big difference between that 2023 tournament and this year is that this time, he has the support of his girlfriend, Emily Tanner.These two hard-launched their relationship during the Masters earlier this year with a wholesome social media post.Since then, Tanner has been following Clark on tour, supporting him while also building out her own social media platform as a golf WAG.Tanner is in person to support Clark at this year’s U.S.

Open.And a video of them embracing each other after Clark’s great first round Thursday shows how tight these two have become.The video was posted to @golf_com’s Instagram account and showed Tanner (who was wearing a light blue skirt) and Clark hugging after the round before Clark kissed Tanner on the head.

Tanner also posted a video of this embrace to her Instagram Story on Friday.If Clark manages to hold this lead and win his second U.S.Open, fans can expect him and Tanner to share several more embraces on camera....
