2 California Co-branded Bed Bath & Beyond stores announced and set to open immedIately

Bed Bath & Beyond’s comeback tour is headed to California.Just three years after the home goods store shuttered all of its stores during bankruptcy proceedings, the retailer has announced that two new co-branded stores are set to open in the Golden State “immediately” as part of its latest brick-and-mortar revival.The new stores will be located inside The Container Store locations in Los Angeles and Costa Mesa, according to a release.The openings are part of a broader rollout that will bring 22 new co-branded Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store stores throughout the country.The retail reunion comes after both brands survived their own financial issues.
Bed Bath & Beyond famously collapsed into bankruptcy in 2023 and The Container Store followed suit in 2024.Earlier this year, Bed Bath & Beyond’s parent company, Beyond, Inc., announced it was acquiring The Container Store, seeing the stage for the new concept landing soon.
