Most people celebrate their 90th birthday with family or at retirement homes.Buddy Guy is ringing his in with a splashy, star-studded show at Radio City Music Hall.On Thursday, Oct.1, the legendary bluesman will blow out the candles at his huge ‘Buddy’s Got The Blues’ concert right in the heart of New York City along with big-name special guests like Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Jon Batiste, Joe Bonamassa, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and more.Just a few of the other iconic performers set to take the stage with the “Sinners” actor include Gary Clark Jr., Aloe Blacc, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan and Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks of Tedeschi Trucks Band.Shemekia Copeland, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, Robert Randolph and Kenny Wayne Shepherd round out the impressive lineup.In total, 21 artists — with more to be announced at a later date — are scheduled to join Buddy Guy at the one-night-only extravaganza.“Can’t wait to celebrate 90 years of living, loving, and playing the Blues with all my friends,” Guy, who was inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2005, said.

“We’ll make it a night not just for me, but for the folks who taught us, the friends we’ve played with, and the ones coming up behind us.”For the record, the dexterous singer and guitarist officially turns 90 on July 30.As of now, he has that date off but, in typical Buddy Guy fashion, will perform the night after as part of his summer ‘Buddy Guy 90 Tour’ with special guests Taj Farrant and the Ally Venable Band joining him on select dates.He’ll be at Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort Casino on Friday, July 31.Other New York and New Jersey shows on Guy’s schedule include stops in Buffalo (July 18), Englewood (Aug.
