Philadelphia psych-folk duo and frontrunners for most “un-Googleable band name” @ (pronounced like “at”) have signed to 4AD for their sophomore album.Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak will release Autosmile on October 16 via the storied British label.
As a lead single, they’ve shared the LP’s title track alongside a stripped-down performance video.Watch it below.Rose and Filipczak originally self-released their debut full-length, 2021’s Mind Palace Music.
Carpark Records reissued the album in 2023 and, the following year, put out an EP by the duo, Are You There God? It’s Me, @.@ will support both YHWH Nailgun and This is Lorelei on their respective North American tours this fall, then head to Europe in November for their own run of headlining dates.
