Brandon Aiyuk makes $50 bills rain in closet with weird reminder at 49ers

One of the strangest sagas to follow in the NFL offseason is what’s going on with embattled 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.Aiyuk has been making it clear that he has no intention of returning to the 49ers, making numerous social media posts in recent months calling the team out for various reasons.Many of Aiyuk’s social media tirades include him flaunting money.And his most recent instance of this not only included cash but also included him flexing that cash in a strange location.On June 25, Aiyuk made a video post to his Instagram Story in which he opened a backpack and began making $50 bills rain on the ground.

This would have been an interesting post in and of itself, but the fact that Aiyuk did so from the comfort of his own closet made matters even weirder.While Aiyuk didn’t say anything in the video, NFL insider Ari Meirov took this to suggest Aiyuk was trying to remind the 49ers’ franchise how much money he has made off them, which Meirov conveyed in a June 25 X post.This comes fewer than 24 hours after Aiyuk made another story post in which he said, “If I’m crazy, or if I’m cappin’, tell them boys cut me today and I’ll sign with the Commanders tomorrow.And we’ll see who’s cappin’.”While Aiyuk might find all of this funny, these social media tirades and strange flexes are coming off as concerning to many fans and NFL media members.It’s also hard to imagine the Commanders are seeing Aiyuk’s social media activity and thinking this is a player they want on their roster, regardless of his on-field abilities....
