Chart-topping ‘No Broke Boys’ producer Disco Lines has announced he’s stepping away from touring for the next few weeks to focus on his health.Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 “Some of you know I’ve been dealing with a few health issues recently,” he wrote in an Instagram Story posted Thursday.
“After talking to my doctor, I’ve been advised to take a few weeks away from the road to focus on getting properly back to full health.It’s really frustrating, but I know it’s the right thing to do.” Several festivals have adjusted their lineups in lockstep.
Disco Lines was set to perform Thursday at Electric Forest, whose organizers have confirmed it’s murph in his stead.The DJ has also withdrawn from Kygo’s Palm Tree Festival in the Hamptons, where Gryffin will step in, and Ottawa’s Escapade Music Festival.
All three festivals confirmed his absence on social media today.Disco Lines has more festival dates on the books this summer, including Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, VELD and Outside Lands.
It remains unclear how long his break will last or whether those scheduled performances will be affected.“I hate letting people down, but I know taking the time now means I’ll be back doing what I love as soon as I’m fully fit,” he added.
