Fight between warring Mexican gangs in NYC leaves 21-year-old dead
Two men were stabbed – one fatally – during a knife fight involving Mexican gangs in a Brooklyn park on Saturday afternoon, police and sources said. A 30-year-old was stabbed in the gut and a 21-year-old was stabbed in the chest during a battle inside Dyker Beach Park in Dyker Heights just before 2 p.m., according to police.The fight was between warring Mexican gangs, police sources said.Both men were rushed to Maimonides Hospital, but the younger man was pronounced dead a short time later.The older man remained in critical condition, cops said.One man was taken into custody at the scene, police said.
