Fans fume at major shake up at iconic Los Angeles radio show

They should have just Let It Be.Fans were outraged Sunday morning after Chris Carter, the legendary host of KLOS’ Breakfast With The Beatles, announced the long-running Beatles show was losing an hour.The revelation was made by Carter on air and immediately kickstarted a firestorm from fans of the radio staple.“Beginning today Breakfast With The Beatles will air from 9am to 11am instead of 9am to 12pm.” Carter told his listeners, “You gotta understand something folks, we play music that’s 60 years old.”He continued: “Management, they love the show, they want to keep the show but they are tweaking it.Maybe things will change, but for now we are ending at 11am.”He finished by saying “You gotta love radio” and then immediately blasted the George Harrison solo tune, “Devil’s Radio.” California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.

Loyal listener Mike Sinclair was shocked when he heard the announcement and told The Post, “No! Why? I’m very surprised as I’ve always understood that Breakfast With The Beatles was the number one weekend show on KLOS.”Another fan Pat Tyson who’s attended at least 50 live show which happen at various LA locations said, “I don’t like them messing with it at all.”“There’s the Beatles and then there’s everyone else, they are timeless, to take an hour from the program is truly a loss for everyone,” Tyson said.“I just look forward to the three hours.
