NYC cycling psycho hits elderly man on head with metal pipe: cops

A cycling psycho on a dinky bike walloped an elderly man on the head with a metal pipe during an argument in Brooklyn, police said. The assault happened June 20 around 5:30 p.m.after the 73-year-old man and suspect began to argue outside Milestone Park in Bensonhurst, cops said.The bike-riding brute knocked the man in the head with the pipe, then quickly rode away west on 82nd Street, police said. The elderly man went to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is in stable condition, according to authorities.Pictures of the suspect released by cops show him wearing a black baseball cap, dark-colored jacket, beige pants and white sneakers while riding a little bike bike. The pedaling pummeler is still on the run, police said. ...
