A millionaire fashion mogul has gone to war with his neighbors over the noise coming from their popular beachfront dog hotel.Kamran Razavi, the mastermind behind the luxury goods website REKLAIM, claimed in an explosive lawsuit that life at his $16 million mansion has been ruined by The Malibu Dog Hotel.He argued the site was causing “irreparable harm” to the neighborhood, which also includes the singer Cher among its residents.The entrepreneur, who lost his previous home in the Palisades Fire and relocated to Malibu last year, wants $500,000, according to the suit.Razavi lives just above and over a street from the hotel and claims: “The loud and annoying noise interferes with his and his guests comfortable use of the property and violates Malibu’s noise ordinance.”The suit continues: “In the operation of its business, defendant permits the dogs… to remain in or around the exterior of the facility to bark loudly and incessantly, creating sustained and excessive noise that is audible to Plaintiff in and around Plaintiff’s residence such that it creates a nuisance affecting Plaintiff, his guests and other neighbors who live in the immediate periphery.”It adds: “As a consequence of Defendant’s behavior and chronic manner of allowing the dogs they are caring for to bark in this manner, Plaintiff is interfered in his ability to use and enjoy Plaintiff’s property.”The Malibu Dog Hotel dates back to 1948 when it opened as The Sandpiper Kennels and sits on about one and a half acres, with dog runs and fields that overlook the Pacific Ocean.After changing ownership in the 1960s, the property became known as the Sandpiper Pet Hotel, where pets could stay overnight.The Sandpiper changed ownership again in 2015, when it rebranded as The Malibu Dog Hotel.The compound charges $65 a night per dog, with the animals able to stay as many nights as they want, according to its website.Its social media pages and website show dozens of dogs under its care, rangi...
