Phil Mickelson’s wife, Amy, has supported the three-time Masters champ with “extraordinary grace” and “unwavering love” amid allegations of sexual misconduct, a spokesperson for Mickelson said.The allegations were made by Ashley Perez, the ex-wife of fellow pro Pat Perez, and stem from a 2015 incident at a villa property owned by Mickelson, as reported by Skratch’s Alan Shipnuck on Friday.“Recovery is not a straight line,” Mickelson’s spokeswoman said.
“Throughout their 35-year relationship, his wife, Amy Mickelson, has supported Mr.Mickelson and their family with extraordinary grace, unwavering love, and the belief that people are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right.”It was a part of a longer statement that denied “some” allegations made publicly against Mickelson.
“Some of the allegations circulating about Mr.Mickelson are false, and others revisit mistakes he has already acknowledged, publicly or privately,” the spokeswoman said.
