If you thought you’d seen it all at California upscale wellness mecca Erewhon — the upscale grocery chain famous for turning pricey smoothies into ultimate status symbols — think again.The newest addition to the tonic bar just launched, and this one isn’t tied to an influencer or Hollywood star.Starting today, Angelenos can sip on a drink inspired by…a trash can.
Erewhon has officially teamed up with Simplehuman, the premium home brand best known for its sleek, high-tech trash cans and sensor makeup mirrors, to launch a limited-edition beverage called the Liquid Steel Smoothie.The limited-edition $12 metallic silver smoothie is inspired by the stainless steel material behind the brand’s iconic trash cans, soap dispensers and kitchen accessories, and debuted on Wednesday at select locations.But don’t worry — there’s no actual metal inside.
