Quentin Grimes celebrates Lakers signing with full-circle throwback photo

Quentin Grimes did not need long to show how much joining the Los Angeles Lakers means to him.Shortly after the Lakers agreed to terms with the former Philadelphia 76ers guard on a four-year, $60 million contract, Grimes shared a throwback photo that made the signing feel much more personal.In the picture, a young Grimes is sitting on the floor in full Lakers gear, wearing a purple-and-gold tank top and shorts while smiling next to his father, Marshall.His dad is behind him in a white “Lakers Basketball” shirt, turning the image into a full-circle moment.Grimes, 26, arrives in LA after a winding NBA path that has taken him from the New York Knicks to the Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks to the 76ers and now the Lakers.
