Mom pregnant with twins killed after horror SoCal crash when 25-year-old ran stop sign

A mother pregnant with twins was tragically killed with her unborn children in a car crash after a driver ran a stop sign and slammed into her car in San Bernardino County.Lorena Lopez, who also had her two other young children in the car at the time, died after a 25-year-old driver blew through the stop sign in Apple Valley on Saturday and slammed into her 2021 Nissan Altima.Her other two young kids suffered severe injuries but miraculously survived the wreck.Lopez was five months pregnant with a boy and a girl, her family wrote on a GoFundMe page.

“Lorena was a loving mother whose life was cut short far too soon,” her sister-in-law, Kiara Mendez, wrote on the fundraising page.“Her two children were also hospitalized as a result of the accident, and the family is now facing unimaginable grief and hardship.”At a gut-wrenching vigil on Wednesday, the family’s grief turned to fury at the 25-year-old driver.“I hope he pays,” her brother Jose told ABC.

“Even if he does 100 years, there is not enough time that will bring her back.”...
