Police swarm Fairlane Town Center mall in Michigan after shooting as shopping center locked down

Police swarmed to a mall in Michigan Friday afternoon after a gunman opened fire.Shots rang out at Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn at around 2 p.m.— when the local police department issued a “significant incident” alert about the shooting on Instagram.“We are asking residents and visitors to avoid the area while officers secure the scene and investigators conduct their work,” the department said in a statement.The mall was on lockdown while cops searched for the gunman.This is a developing story.
