Jalen Brunson played through pain to carry the Knicks to a championship.He underwent surgery recently to repair a tendon issue in his left hand and wrist, according to a source.His recovery timetable is 6-to-8 weeks.Contrary to other reports that stated it was on his right hand/wrist and that is set to happen, the surgery already took place and was on his left hand/wrist.The operation was performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery.Brunson dealt with discomfort during the Finals and it impacted his shooting, particularly early in games.
