Police are searching for a sicko who raped a woman at knifepoint in Greenwich Village during the early morning hours last month, according to authorities.A 21-year-old was near West 10th Street and 5th Avenue around 4:40 a.m.on June 27 when an unidentified man approached her, according to the NYPD.The creep then whipped out a knife and forcibly raped her, cops said.The woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition after he fled the scene, authorities added.Cops released several photos of the suspect, who has a beard and mustache, wearing a white t-shirt, light blue pants and carrying a green jacket in the subway.The intersection where the terrifying attack unfolded is just blocks from Washington Square Park, by a stretch of luxe apartment buildings.
