Creamfields Attendee Jailed After Entering Festival With Drugs Hidden in His Anus

A Creamfields attendee’s attempt to sneak drugs into the festival took a turn that will be hard for him to digest.Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 Imaad Choudry, a 23-year-old from the Manchester area, has been jailed after attempting to enter the UK’s biggest EDM festival with cocaine and MDMA hidden in his anus, according to Cheshire Police.
The man appeared in court on Friday, June 26th, and he was sentenced to 32 months in prison.The incident took place on August 24th, 2025, when Choudry tried to enter Creamfields and a drug-detection dog indicated he was carrying illegal substances.
Security then took Choudry to a private area, at which point he admitted he had concealed the drugs.Authorities recovered 14 bags of cocaine and nine MDMA tablets with an estimated street value between £640 and £800 (roughly $855 and $1,068 USD).
Police Constable Lisa Green said Choudry “seriously underestimated” the force’s dogs, which identified him within a matter of seconds.“Choudry thought that he could outsmart officers by hiding his illegal drugs in his anus, however he seriously underestimated the capabilities of our four-legged colleagues who took just seconds to sniff him out,” she said.
Choudry had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.His case was part of a wider enforcement operation at Creamfields 2025, where Cheshire Police made 43 arrests and reported 186 crimes across the festival weekend, the department said.
The 2026 edition of Creamfields will feature Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Alesso and other superstar DJs over August Bank Holiday weekend.The festival returns to Cheshire’s Daresbury Estate from August 27-30....
