The ever-profilic Asher White is already revving up for her second full-length release of 2026.Her official follow-up to last year’s 8 Tips for Full Catastrophe Living, Love Aggregates is out August 28 via Joyful Noise.
In the video for its lead single, “The Eagle Is No Omen,” White goes on a trippy odyssey of lottery scratch-offs, pawn shops, and casinos after going into debt playing online poker.Watch it below.In a press statement, White described “The Eagle Is No Omen” as “[a] comprehensive self-inventory that earnestly attempts to thread together: my relationship to substance, gender dysphoria, eating disorder, my grandfather’s recent passing, heartbreak, moral scrupulosity and the successful rehabilitation campaign of the American bald eagle, which was declared no longer endangered in 2007.”In February, White dropped a full-album cover of Jessica Pratt’s 2012 self-titled debut.
After a brief U.S.tour this October, she’ll head across the pond for a run of UK dates that includes a set at Pitchfork Music Festival London.
