It was previously reported that Golden State was one of two teams James was deciding between, but the list has seemingly changed in recent days.The Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat appear to have an edge over other suitors in the race for James, but the details into the process largely remain a mystery.

In 2024, James and Curry teamed up for the first time in their careers during the Paris Olympics.The star-studded duo led to Team USA to a gold medal and demonstrated undeniably chemistry on the court.James also had the opportunity to work with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr during their gold medal run.
