How Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding turned into stress mess for ex-USWNT star Julie Ertz and NFL husband

Retired USWNT soccer star Julie Ertz said she had 24 hours to find a dress for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding because hers was lost “somewhere” in her travel journey.During Tuesday’s installment of the “Style of Play” podcast, Julie pulled back the curtain on her and husband, Super Bowl champion tight end Zach Ertz’s trip to New York for the exclusive Madison Square Garden wedding on Friday.

“It was a blast,” Julie said of Kelce and Swift’s wedding.“Besides the stress of finding a dress.

My dress is still in customs somewhere.“So trying to find a dress in 24 hours, let alone it being in New York seemed insane.” Julie, a two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup winner, joked that she and Zach were “a mess” because he didn’t try on his tuxedo before leaving for the wedding.

“And then on top of that, the stress of Zach as we’re about to leave, being like, ‘Do you think I should’ve tried on my tuxedo?'” she said.“I honestly was like, ‘We’re a mess.

“But I am going to say, I had a very good time and that dance floor was very fun… I love love.” The “Style of Play” podcast shared a clip of Julie talking about the star-studded nuptials, with the caption: Zach Ertz really needed someone to tie his bow tie for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.” Swift and Kelce, both 36, were married in front of more than 1,000 guests at MSG — with friend and actor/comedian Adam Sandler serving as their officiant.Julie and Zach appeared on Travis and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast last month.Jason and Zach played together with the Eagles from 2013 until Zach was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in October 2021....
