OnlyFans killer Courtney Clenney to use boyfriends texts about beatings to fight murder case

An OnlyFans model accused of knifing her boyfriend to death in a Miami high-rise plans to use text messages about his alleged beatings to show she acted in self-defense, new court documents reveal.Courtney Clenney, 30, claims there were at least nine times Christian Obumseli was abusive — allegedly punching her in the face and fracturing her ribs — in the months before he was killed in April 2022, according to the filings.The social media vixen, whose murder trial is scheduled to start next month, outlines disturbing text exchanges to show she was tormented physically and psychologically by Obumseli, according to the motion to admit evidence, filed in Miami-Dade criminal court Tuesday.Clenney first fired off a text accusing Obumseli of hitting her “in my face as hard as you could” in April 2021, according to the filing.Obumseli allegedly brushed it off,  replying that he was only trying to move her hand and “really didn’t mean to.”Clenney argues the messages show a pattern of her boyfriend minimizing his repeated violence against her. Clenney then allegedly texted Obumseli that he had been “punching me in the back” and “attacking me” after another fight in August 2021, according to the filing.The texts were sent immediately after the violence and corroborate her account of an abusive relationship, her lawyers argue.“Obumseli repeatedly engaged in a pattern of physical violence, intimidation, threats, stalking, controlling behavior, coercive control, manipulation, and emotional abuse,” the court documents state. “Courtney’s testimony will include numerous incidents in which Obumseli Struck, grabbed, shoved, restrained, choked  and otherwise committed batteries against her.”In September 2021, Obumseli allegedly dislocated her shoulder for the “fourth time” during an argument about leaving a pool, according to the court docs.“As she reached for the doorknob with her right hand, Obumseli grabbed her left wrist and violently p...
