Watch Odd Mob and Walker & Royce Perform the World's First DJ Set on a Rollercoaster

The inventiveness of pop-up DJ sets knows no bounds.From Jewish delis to abandoned zoos to random elevators, artists have found increasingly creative venues to showcase their sound, and Odd Mob and Walker & Royce just raised the bar by taking theirs to the seats of a rollercoaster.
Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 The house music producers executed what they are claiming to be the world’s first-ever DJ set on a rollercoaster, the Twisted Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.Together with vocalist Benni Ola, they occupied the front two rows of the coaster and performed on a custom-engineered DJ setup integrated directly into the ride.
The pop-up was organized to celebrate the release of ‘Can’t Say Nah,’ the new collaboration from Odd Mob and Walker & Royce featuring Ola, whose vocals add a magnetic pull to a propulsive house beat that chugs along like the rollercoaster on which it was filmed.Check out footage below.
If the DJ set was any indication, both acts are nowhere near slowing down for the rest of 2026.Odd Mob has upcoming festival performances at HARD Summer, ARC and Outside Lands, with an Australian headline tour to follow in the fall.
Walker & Royce are also DJing at ARC as well as Elements and Nocturnal Wonderland, alongside headline shows at Tampa’s The Ritz Ybor, Dallas’ Silo and a co-headline with Dombresky at Denver’s Mission Ballroom.You can listen to ‘Can’t Say Nah’ below and find the new single on streaming services here.
