Ex-assistant sues Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag over dog bite claims

An alleged former assistant of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag was viciously attacked by the celeb couple’s dog, according to a new lawsuit.Cole Gill allegedly sustained puncture wounds to his right thigh and other injuries that led to “permanent disfigurements” when Spencer and Heidi’s dog, named Ego, attacked him at the couple’s home in Carpinteria, CA, the lawsuit, obtained by The California Post, said.Gill claimed he was grabbing a credit card to run errands when he came across the Dutch Shepherd guard dog at the home on November 17, 2025.Cole suffered emotional and physical trauma from his injuries, and has taken on costs for scar remediation treatment and counseling while missing out on wages, according to the lawsuit.“The owner of any dog is liable for the damages suffered by any person who is bitten by the dog while in public place or lawfully in private place, including the property of the owner of the dog,” the documents said.Cole is asking for unspecified damages including compensatory damages, wage loss and medical expenses — TMZ was first to report the lawsuit.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
