Avicii Estate Launches Official Fan Platform, Enlisting Them as "Co-Archivists" of DJ's Legacy

For years, Avicii have swapped bootleg recordings, argued over setlists and pieced together the story of his career from scattered corners of the internet.Now, that informal archival work has an official home.
Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 Pophouse Entertainment, which purchased a majority stake in the DJ’s music catalog back in 2022, has joined forces with his estate to launch ‘Avicii Community,’ a platform they’re formally calling “the official home for Avicii fans.” Fans can help verify performance details and build out setlists spanning Avicii’s touring history through a feature called ‘Shows,’ enlisting them as “co-archivists” of his legacy, according to a press release shared with EDM.com.The platform’s operators plan to eventually let attendees upload their own photos and videos from concerts they witnessed firsthand prior to his tragic death by suicide in 2018.
Elsewhere, a section called ‘Archive Stories’ draws on previously unseen footage to offer the community’s members a closer look at the creative process behind Avicii’s music, and includes interactive polls that let fans share their impressions.Early installments will include a recap of the ambitious tribute activation at Tomorrowland 2026 and a long-form interview with Nicky Romero, with whom Avicii collaborated in 2012 to release ‘I Could Be the One,’ a generational dance anthem.
The Dutch DJ will also revisit archival studio footage alongside Bergling for the first time.The platform also features a curated discography of Avicii’s many hits, including the breakout ‘Levels’ to the influential ‘Wake Me Up.’ Fans who link their Spotify accounts will gain access to exclusive playlists assembled by Bergling’s friends and collaborators along with collections built around specific eras of his career.
