Haunting images from inside Los Angeles City Hall as suicide jumper identified as California teen

A 19-year-old man who died after jumping from Los Angeles City Hall on Wednesday has been identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as Avery Truesdale.Emergency responders were called to the downtown Los Angeles building shortly after 4 p.m.following reports someone had fallen from the upper floors of City Hall.Law enforcement sources told The California Post that Truesdale leaped from the observation deck, the 27th floor on the Spring Street side of the building, before landing on the front steps.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.Sources said Truesdale was not a City of Los Angeles employee and was wearing a visitor badge when his body was discovered.Visitors to Los Angeles City Hall are required to pass through a security screening, obtain a temporary visitor badge, and tell security personnel the purpose of their visit and the office or destination they are visiting before being allowed into the building.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
