Travis Kelce returns to football workouts for first time since getting married to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce may have gotten married in an NBA arena, but he’s quickly returned to the NFL grind. Nearly two weeks after his Madison Square Garden wedding with Taylor Swift, cameras caught Kelce working out during a training session in Florida on Thursday. It’s the first time he’s been seen working out since the July 3 wedding. Kelce, who was dressed in Nike for the training session, had a duffel in one hand and a sports drink in the other.He also looked to have his wedding band on. Swift and Kelce tied the knot in one of the most high-profile weddings ever, and their marriage was confirmed with a sign outside of the Garden saying, “Just&T Married!”Their wedding featured numerous sports-related guests, including 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and wife Kristin, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and wife Kelly and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and wife Jen. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who joined the team the same year as Kelce in 2013, was also at the wedding. As for Kelce, he’s looking to bounce back after a forgettable 2025 season.

While the tight end had a solid 851 yards, the Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014 as they went 6-11. Despite retirement rumors swirling earlier in the offseason, Kelce is gearing up to play his 14th season with the Chiefs and ninth with quarterback Patrick Mahomes — who’s returning from a torn ACL. Kelce has racked up 13,002 receiving yards over his 13-year NFL career in Kansas City.He has also won three Super Bowls and hauled in 80 touchdowns. With the Broncos winning the AFC West last season, the Chiefs upgraded their offense this offseason by adding former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III. The Chiefs open their 2026 season on Sept.
