LA sports figure Jeff Pearlman admits Angels have helped him rediscover his love for baseball

It’s been a long and exhausting season for the Angels, but it appears the team has helped at least one fan rediscover his love for baseball.New York Times award-winning sports author Jeff Pearlman released a video on TikTok, revealing the Angels have rekindled his passion for the sport.“In the last [month] I’ve gone to probably like five games, three of the five just by myself, and you may think, ‘What kind of loser goes to a baseball game by himself?’ It’s [the] best,” Pearlman said during the TikTok video.“I buy a ticket really high up.
… I get free parking because I park offsite, and I just love it.”“I love the feel of the ballpark, I love the look of the ballpark, I love the green, I love the national anthem, the seventh-inning stretch, I love that the Angels always do these really cheesy giveaways.”Despite the Angels having a poor record (39-61), Pearlman said he enjoys being able to watch baseball at an affordable price and called it the “cheapest, best bang for your buck ever.”Pearlman went on to compare how cheap the Angels tickets are compared with Dodgers tickets.He said he’s happy not having to spend $40 to park and spending over $100 for a ticket.Pearlman is a New York Times best-selling author who writes about football, baseball and basketball.
