Casino in Primm to reopen Wednesday just 17 days after Terribles takeover

Primm is back in the game.The once-doomed casino outpost on the California-Nevada border will be back in the game Wednesday when Terrible’s reopens the Primm Valley Casino — just 17 days after taking control of the property.The casino will welcome gamblers back at noon following “brief remarks” from Terrible’s executives and Corey Clemetson, the grandson of Primm founder Ernie Primm, according to an announcement shared with The California Post.Hundreds of employees from Primm Valley Casino and across Terrible’s network have “worked around the clock” to revive the property since the company assumed management control July 5.The casino will reopen with 422 gaming machines, 250 hotel rooms, a William Hill sportsbook, a sports bar and a 24-hour quick-bites restaurant.Terrible’s is also scrapping resort fees and will match rewards tiers previously earned by returning customers.New promotions and rewards will launch Wednesday for new and returning gamblers.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
