We gotta make sure our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren have the same freedoms that we have," Lamb said in a campaign video.The seat came open when Biggs, R-Ariz., announced he would run for governor last year."Arizona has a bright future, but we will need strong leadership to reach its full potential," Biggs said in a press release."I have been honored to serve Arizona at the state and federal levels and will bring my experience home to my native state to help fulfill its tremendous capacity."The seat is one of the state’s most reliably Republican — and became more so after the state’s redistricting in 2022.
