Seth Meyers bashes Trumps World Cup appearance in back-to-back late-night rants

Comedian Seth Meyers bashed President Trump during his late-night monologues this week, mocking the commander-in-chief for staying onstage during the celebrations and comparing himself to soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. During his NBC show “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Tuesday, Meyers took aim at a Truth Social post from the president over the weekend praising Andrew Giuliani, the White House’s point person for the tournament, for “elevating the World Cup to a level that nobody thought was possible.”“Alright, calm down,” Meyers said.“It was already the biggest sporting event in the world.
