People are ticked off at TikTok Shop.Both Amazon and the social media platform have been accused of selling jewelry that contains unhealthy levels of cadmium.The investigation by The Sunday Times found that a charm bracelet sold on TikTok Shop reportedly contained nearly 3,300 times the UK limit.
Cadmium is a silvery-white toxic metal, often found in batteries, tobacco smoke and sometimes jewelry.It has been linked to a myriad of health issues affecting the liver, kidneys and lungs.
