Sophie Cunningham has taken her stance on the ongoing culture war over women’s sports and trans athletes.In an interview with ESPN on Tuesday, Cunningham spoke on the issue and what she has experienced on social media surrounding it.“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans.And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,'” Cunningham told the outlet.“I think that I am here to extend love.

But I also think with that love is truth, being honest.And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.”The 29-year-old, who has been tagged with the label “MAGA Barbie,” insisted that her comments don’t lend to the full truth of her political views.“I’m very much in the middle.
