House passes Iran war powers resolution as four Republicans join Dems to rebuke Trump

WASHINGTON — The House voted to curtail President Trump’s ability to wage war in Iran Thursday, just before lawmakers are set to break for a five-week recess.The lower chamber adopted a war powers resolution in a 214-208 vote, demanding Trump wind down the military campaign in Iran.That marks the second time such a measure cleared the lower chamber in recent months.Republican Reps.Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.), Tom Barrett (R-Mich.), Reps.
