LIV Golf Team Championships in Michigan 'highly likely' to be canceled: we're 'disappointed'

Ben Parsons at Today's Golferreported on Wednesday that LIV is "highly likely" to cancel its Team Championships event scheduled for The Cardinal Course in Michigan on Aug.27-30.Parsons spoke to Martin Kaymer, who heads The Cleeks team, while covering the current LIV Golf UK event at JCB Golf and Country Club.

Kaymer had just attended the captain's meeting ahead of the UK event, which is coming at the end of a lengthy break brought on by the cancelation of the New Orleans tournament."We were hoping for a bit more information," Kaymer reportedly said."I mean, we got the information, but we were more looking for decisions or what was happening next year. And unfortunately, even Scott, he can’t tell us because he doesn’t know. It depends so much on the investors.
