An Air Force lawyer fears possible jail time and the end of his career after a pool party at his $1.5 million Michigan home descended into a chaotic “twerkfest.” Alex Simpson, 42, appeared in court Wednesday over the six-hour-long bash at his Birmingham home on June 13, which saw more than 150 people attend — almost four times the number expected, WDIV reported.He claimed he allowed his pal Rodney Harrington, 27, and his cousins to throw the party as long as they donated to a charity. Simpson, who also works as a hearing officer, rented out his pool for 40 people at a rate of $180 but “more than 150” revelers attended, according to WDIV.Scantily-clad women danced in the pool and on top of cars as they left the property, sparking outrage in the community.Simpson was hit with a slew of charges, including breach of peace, causing a public nuisance and disturbing the peace.The lawyer feared in court how the charges could affect his career.“We’re here today being arraigned on criminal charges, you know, for what was a pool party,” he said in court. “I’m an attorney.
