Super Bowl champ Jordan Devey dead by suicide at 38

Former NFL guard Jordan Devey has died at the age of 38.In the late hours of Thursday night, Devey’s wife Lindsey announced the death of the former player for the Ravens, Patriots, Chiefs, Raiders and Bills.Devey died by suicide, per a GoFundMe page,“Tragically, Jordan took his own life, leaving his family to navigate an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time,” the post reads.

“As they face overwhelming emotional and financial challenges, including mounting medical expenses, the community is coming together to support Lindsey and their children.The funds raised will help ease the financial burden, allowing them to focus on healing and moving forward without the added stress of immediate expenses.”Lindsey shared an Instagram post to honor her husband, which included a photo of her leaning over Devey in a hospital bed along with a photo of the couple seemingly on their wedding day.

They have four children together.Devey died on what would have been the couple’s 15th year anniversary, Lindsey shared.“We have filled the walls of our homes and hearts with countless memories, joys, struggles, and triumphs.

We brought 4 beautiful children into this world that have your eyes, freckles, and compassion,” she wrote.“You were our hero and our hearts ache in your absence.

We love you.We miss you.
