The new movie follows Aang, now an adult, and the rest of Team Avatar as they discover Tagah (Dave Bautista), an ancient surviving airbender, and join him in searching for an airbending staff to bring back the Air Nomads.The crew embarks on a global quest to find the relic before another group can claim it and upend the peace they fought to achieve since defeating Fire Lord Ozai and ending the Hundred Year War.“Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender” was leaked online in April 2026, prompting Singaporean authorities to arrest a 26 year-old-man on charges that he illegally accessed a media server without authorization.

The movie’s theatrical release was then rolled back and its streaming premiere was moved up to July 25.The movie’s release comes just two days after “Avatar” creators announced the October 9 series premiere of “Avatar: Seven Havens,” another brand new animated installment in the series at San Diego Comic Con.The new “Avatar: The Last Airbender” movie, “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender,” comes out at 3 a.m.
