Even Beverly Hills isn’t safe anymore.Los Angeles’ crime crisis is hitting everyone — from everyday residents to the rich and famous — and reality TV star Morgan Stewart says she’s learned that the hard way.Stewart pulled back the curtain on the string of burglaries that have targeted her home during Friday’s episode of the “Therapuss” podcast, describing how thieves repeatedly made off with luxury items despite private security.One of the most painful losses came just two days after she returned from France with a coveted Hermès Birkin bag.“Bought it in France, brought it home, stolen out of my house two days later,” Stewart recounted.She said the burglars struck after a security guard fell asleep, smashing through her office door before raiding the couple’s bedroom.“They went into our bedroom and ransacked my husband’s watches.”The thieves walked away with multiple rare handbags but mysteriously left behind an entire glass display case full of designer bags.Stewart believes they assumed the case was alarmed.In another break-in, she said, security intercepted the burglars on a nearby hillside as they fled with her jewelry.
The repeated invasions have forced her to transform her property into something resembling “Fort Knox.”The celebrity said she the crimes upset her — but she also painted a grim picture of life in one of Southern California’s wealthiest enclaves.“I was just furious.I was angry.
